Are you familiar with XM satellite radio? You should be! It may be a well kept secret at this point in time, but not for long!
Between visiting friends and family, going on rock climbing trips, and trying to see the world, I end up going on a lot of road trips. I’ve crisscrossed the country quite a few times, all without any in-car DVD player or sedatives for the passengers.
Music has always been important, and my friends and I usually bring all of our CDs along with us in giant folders and binders. Every time a new driver takes over they choose half a dozen different discs and put them somewhere easily accessible so the rest of us can sleep for another few hours. The time usually passes pretty quickly, though eventually the music usually wears thin.

What is the most popular activity on the face of the Earth, no holds barred? Why, it’s TV of course!
No other activity even comes close to the popularity of TV. We watch it, talk about it, pattern our behavior after it, laugh and cry because of it, and have it in nearly every household in America.
When TV was introduced in the late l940s, marketing executives looked into the future and predicted that television would become commonplace in every household. And here we are fifty years later, with no less than 98 percent of American households welcoming television into their homes. So what’s the next step? Why big screen televisions of course!!

A great article on Lindsay Lohan.
Here’s a preview:
Poor Lindsay Lohan. Supposedly she ran a pass by Nick Lachey and he totally dissed her. Frankly, I think he’s a punk for dissing her on record, but I think he’s an idiot for passing up on some grade ‘A’ trim. Lindsay Lohan takes the exposure quite well, I think. As a high profile young actress, Lindsay Lohan is pictured in numerous poses…

A great article on Howard Stern.
Here’s a preview:
One school of critics vilifies Howard Stern as a smut slinger; another group sympathizes with Stern as a victim of oppressive intellectual megalomania; still other groups—well, many, actually—imitate the Stern model of ball-breaking other-directed humor…

In something of a tabloid scandal, it was leaked to the press in 1994 that Aaliyah and R. Kelly, who had co-produced her first album, had been married. Aaliyah was 15 at the time, and had apparently claimed to be 18 so that the marriage could commence legally. Neither Aaliyah or R. Kelly ever confirmed that they had indeed been married, and any marriage they did have was promptly annulled.

For the one or two of you who don’t yet have satellite radio, shame on you! For oly a few bucks a month you get commercial free music, Howard Stern (Sirius only,) tons of sports, more varieties of music than you can shake an antenna at, and no commercials on the music stations.
What more could you want? Oh yeah, no more channel surfing as youi drive across the state or country. Sounds good to me.

If you are upgrading your system you should consider what you are going to do with your old home theater system. Assuming it is more than an antiquated television set and a BetaMax VCR, you probably should consider selling it.Lower end systems are in high demand on the new market because of price considerations. First-time buyers and those at the home theater socioeconomic periphery are looking for ways to experience the joys of superior home entertainment at a price that meets their needs. They are amenable to purchasing used components - especially if the purchase will save them money.

In addition, DVRs allow one to “freeze” or pause live broadcasts. That run to the refrigerator or restroom doesn’t require a commercial break anymore. Just hit pause, and you can take as long as you would like.
Speaking of commercials, DVRs are really turning that industry on its head. When you record a program, you can watch it quickly and easily without actually sitting through the commercials. Most DVR users soon develop an expert touch on the fast forward button as they skip over commercial messages while watching their favorite show.

An article about Saturday Night Fever
If you’re like anyone else that came of age in the 70s, you were greatly influenced by Saturday Night Fever. Maybe you hated it and maybe you didn’t. Maybe you were one of those who wouldn’t admit you liked it due to peer pressure, or some other stupid adolescent reason, but succumbed as an adult with more assertiveness and taste. The classic sound track, dominated by the Bee Gees is now unforgettable, and reminds you just where you were in that time and place. Even if you didn’t like it at the time, you know that there was something about that movie and soundtrack, something that you just couldn’t get out of your head.

An article about Britney Spears Fantasy
So America’s favorite little pop star has a second perfume out now. You’ve probably heard of it, its being advertised all over the television, radio and in magazines. It is being marketed under the inspiring name “Britney Spears Fantasy”. Exactly what kind of fantasies it inspires probably varies a lot from person to person. If the ads are an accurate guide, Britney Spears Fantasy is supposed to inspire lustful, adventurous, or romantic feelings in men just like any other perfume I suppose. As a man, I can say that the ads for Britney Spears Fantasy inspire me to change the channel, but maybe that’s just me.

It’s now simple to get your music online for free. While this is not exactly legal, many have abused the ability. They download songs then burn music to a disk without paying. It is actually not expensive in the first place if you consider what you used to pay for an entire album.
