World of Warcraft: Fantasy is FAN-tastic

Around twelve years back, Blizzard Entertainment developed a game called Warcraft, a single/multiplayer adventure game, which went on to become so immensely popular that they added two more Warcraft games, and World of Warcraft is the fourth game in the series. World of Warcraft, also called WOW by gamers, is an massive online multiplayer role- playing game (MMORPG).

To play the game you have to choose a character from a variety of races (human, night elf, orcs, dwarfs, trolls, and more), and having chosen your race, you have to decide what profession you would like to be. The choices are: hunter, paladin, rogue, shaman, warrior, and more. You begin the game as a Level 1 with the objective being to reach Level 60 while having a lot of fun adventuring around and gathering the best possible armor and weapons in the process.

Sports Photography Can Be Fun And Frustrating

Monday, June 4th, 2007

You can see the results on the newspaper sports pages practically everyday so you know that taking good pictures of sporting events is possible, it just does not seem that sports photography would be as hard. Portrait photography seems to be difficult enough with the proper lighting and the direction in which the subject is looking, but taking pictures of subjects that seem to be constantly moving can add another dimension to the difficulty.

By definition, sports photography can be tough because you are trying to depict the action of the sport through a still photograph.

Why The SpiderMan Movies Touch a Cord In American Lives

Saturday, June 2nd, 2007

I guess we all know the story of Spiderman by now, one of the most successful movie series ever man.  The amazing Spiderman, where a young adolescent, on the verge of becoming a man, not only “comes of age” but has the role of superhero thrust upon him.  And while he has the spidey sense, amazing strength, the ability to web himself from building to building, he is still plagues with the same fears and doubts of anyone growing up.  He has the same problems most of us face in our daily lives, how can we get the girl of our dreams, are are we going to pass the next test, can we earn a living doing something we enjoy.

And perhaps it is this very thing that has made the Amazing SpiderMan so popular with young and old alike; The Story of Spider-Man is one that we all can relate to, since he (Peter Parker / Spiderman) is in touch with the common man, and all of us wonder, “What might I do in the same set of circumstances”.

When someone walks out of the Spiderman movie, they aren’t left with the same feelings of other superhero movies, they wonder, maybe I can live my life a little bit better; maybe I can fight evil, not with spider powers, but with the powers of standing up for what is good and right.
