It’s RetroGroove Baby
August 22nd, 2007A radio station in Iowa has decided that the show that my friend and I recorded is actually one they want to play. Now they just have to find the time slot for it.
RetroGroove Baby will be about the entertainers, business leaders, sports figures and politicians from the 40’s - 80’s. It will have live interviews with different leaders in the areas, telling the stories of their experiences during their hayday as well as perhaps telling about the people they worked with, what they didn’t want to say when they were at the top of their game for fear of hurting their chances of getting to work again.
I met a truly wonderful actor last month and the stories that he told about the people he worked with was just so interesting. He was a busy actor, had experience in movies, tv and on Broadway so his exposure to the different actors and actresses was extensive. We hope to have him on our show telling some of those stories to you.
It’s always a good thing to have a mix of programming on a radio station, it brings in a different listening crowd at different times of the day. We are looking forward to being able to announce the date and time for the show and hope you all will listen and enjoy!
