October 15th, 2007Sirius satellite radio Inc has Earth based broadcast stations that are used to send up information to the satellites, which is then dispersed through out the world. These channels are fed into the monitors through transmission of the signals received by the ground from the satellites. The signals are then picked up by the radio receiver which it also picks up the channel and transmitted to your Sirius radio by way of your Sirius antenna. Besides all of the music channels, added to that is the array are a multitude of news channels, sports, entertainment, and talk shows. And this is not to mention the many channels of traffic and up-to-date weather channels aired to most of the major cities in mainland United States and Canada. Sirius satellite radio Inc has also partnered with three of the worlds major sports giants – The NFL, NBA and NASCAR.
