Doctor Who On iTunes - Old and New Episodes Available
August 17th, 2008Everybody knows about the iTunes Store these days, and how it’s possible to legally download music, movies, and TV shows from Apple’s online store. But for American fans of the classic BBC show Doctor Who, it’s felt kind of like being left out in the cold since their favorite TV show was never available through iTunes. But now this has all changed with Apple offering Doctor Who on iTunes.
Fans of the series can now get both entire seasons of the new revived Doctor Who series, as well as a selection of the more than 600 episodes that make up the classic series of Doctor Who, which ran for 26 seasons in the UK. The selection of the classic series is still limited, but no doubt in time more and more Doctor Who stories will be available to download to help fill the fans’ need for Who.
