Unlocking Halo 3 Armor
April 13th, 2008Halo gamers are now able to customize their online character with new Halo 3 Armor permutations. For gamers who play online there are two different characters that can be chosen from. A gamer can play as the Covenant Elite character or they can play as Master Chief or also known as UNSC SPARTAN-II. These new armor permutations we’re first introduce during the Halo 3 beta, and all of the new armor can be unlocked by accomplishing different tasks through out the campaign game play or multiplayer game play.
If the gamer is going to play as Master Chief or UNSC SPARTAN-II they will actually have 6,144 different armor permutations available to them that they can choose from. The only reason that this number is higher then the Covenant Elite character, is due to the fact that more gamers’ will play as this character. The gamer has the same possibility as the gamer that plays as an Elite character; they will be able to choose from 11 helmets, 8 shoulder pieces and 8 chest pieces. They can choose a combination of 1 helmet, 2 shoulder pieces and a chest piece to personalize their character.
