Becoming Mozart
October 28th, 2009The fame that is associated with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart comes as a surprise when we learn that this great composer has achieved so much and yet died at age 35. Born in Austria in 1756, he was to stun the world with his great composition which still enjoys global appeal to this day.
If you read a standard Mozart biography you’ll learn he played the harpsichord at 3 years of age and composed at around 5 or 6 years. He traveled all over Europe in the company of his father and held concerts in the major cities including London and Paris. He died in 1791 after a short illness.
