October 14th, 2009At 10.50 pm on 8 December 1980, Mark David Chapman fired five shots from close range, ending the extraordinary life of John Lennon. The shooting took place in front of the building where Lennon lived. One of the shots missed, but the other four struck him in the back and shoulder causing severe gunshot wounds.
John Lennon made an incredible mark on Rock and Roll, but is also remembered for his political activism and his contribution to world peace.
