“In Bruges” is written and directed by Martin McDonagh, previously acclaimed for his Broadway play “The Lieutenant of Inishmore” (if you ever have a chance to see the play, you must). “The Lieutenant of Inishmore” (the play is originally from London) was one of the most hilarious and surprising plays on Broadway for last two years. In his filmmaking debut “In Bruges” Martin McDonagh maintain his affection for “the comedy of words and wounds” and once again proves his talent for words and jokes. Great dialogues, unexpected turns, unique characters and wild situations - everything is as a good black comedy should be. And the ending that you should see for yourself!

So there I was, standing out in the rain looking for last minute theatre tickets to see a Broadway show. This wasn’t how I had pictured spending my vacation. When I took a train into New York from Jersey City, my friend had promised me we would have the time of our lives. Apparently, he was a big shot now. He knew how to get cheap theatre tickets to all of the Broadway shows. He had been working as a production assistant at one of the big Broadway theatre companies, and he presented himself as better connected than he probably was.

Since opening in May, 2006, the Marrakech Hotel has been very well received with an average occupancy rate of 88%. Broadway has an annual attendance of more than 12 million, and the Broadway tickets for popular shows, such as The Lion King, Spamalot, Wicked, Mamma Mia!, Jersey Boys, and Tarzan, among others, are bought quite in advance, at times months in advance.

Some of her most famous movies include ‘Dangerous’ (1935), ‘Jezebel’ (1938), ‘Now, Voyager’ (1942), and ‘The Star’ (1952). She was nominated for Oscars 11 times, and won two.

I’m one of the people who enjoy going to a Broadway musical. In fact, it is one of my favorite activities. I will often take trips to New York City just to watch Broadway shows on the weekend, even though I live in the middle of New Jersey. I would probably have saved a fortune if I did not watch so many Broadway musicals.
