Have you ever been to Branson Missouri? If you haven’t you should try it. It’s the off season right now but starting in spring the place jumps. You can see all kinds of shows at night, in fact the main street looks like Las Vegas at night with all the signs advertising what is going on. During the day you can golf to your hearts content. There are at least four courses there, three of them public. You can take a ride on the Branson scenic railroad, always a joy. There are countless other forms of entertainment. Take the kids along, Branson is a very family friendly place. You do want to get a hotel room close to your desired venue though, the traffic during peak times can get very congested. Most times you can walk a half mile faster than you can drive it. You are also close to Table Rock Lake if you enjoy boating or fishing. The night life is mostly country western in nature although there are other types. Best get there early for the best seats. So load up the station wagon, hit the road, and head for Missouri. You can’t believe how much fun you will have.

Clark Gable’s third and most famous marriage was to the beautiful Hollywood actress Carole Lombard. To this day, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard are still considered Hollywood’s most famous couple ever. In January of 1942 tragedy would turn Clark Gable’s world upside down. The plane that Carole Lombard and Carole’s mother were flying in crashed into Nevada’s Table Rock Mountain. Sadly, they both lost their lives. After serving in the Army Corps during WWII, Clark Gable would come home from Europe to resume his Hollywood acting career. In 1949, roughly 7 years after the death of Carole Lombard, Clark Gable married the widow of the famed Hollywood actor, Douglas Fairbanks. Sylvia Ashley would become his forth wife, but like his first two marriages, it would end in divorce after only 3 years.

So the Cowboys lost to the Eagles and people are blaming it on Jessica Simpson? Do you really think Tony Romo had a bad game because she was wearing a pink and white Tony Romo Cowboys jersey? Get real. Tony R. is a professional and a damn good quarterback.
Remember, Jessica was at the Green Bay and NY Jets game. The Cowboys, and Tony Romo in particular, dominated that game. As quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo has put up numbers that Roger Staubach, Danny White and Troy Aikman never could.
Don’t doubt Tony Romo (Jessica Simpson doesn’t).

The first movie in any series is usually considered the best of the lot and this might be true in some people’s opinion about Dr. No, the very first James Bond movie. I love the mystery involved in the film and who can forget the famous scene of the exquisitely beautiful Ursula Andress emerging from the water onto the sandy beach. I even bought the poster.
Even though the first
James Bond movie is a fan favorite, I would have to say that Goldfinger is definitely mine. The scene with that gorgeous woman entirely covered in 24 carat gold paint is so memorable. I could watch it over and over again and I have. Who could forget the evil Odd Job and his deadly hat.

If you are planning a special occasion, such as a wedding, party or even a corporate event, it might be a great idea to hire a tribute band. DJs are common and so are cover bands but a great tribute band can really get your party going with a swing and are not as expensive as you might think.Tribute bands have become hugely popular, some of them are so close to the real thing that it is almost impossible to tell them apart. There are also some dreadful ones around, so if you are considering a tribute band, you need to make sure you use a reputable company, preferably one who has been in business for a while, provides you with plenty of choice, is reasonably priced and has testimonials from past happy customers. A bad tribute band can ruin your special day or party, or be embarrassing if it is a corporate function, so it is best to be cautious and do some research before booking the first tribute band you happen to come across. There are many tribute acts in the UK and the choice is immense. Whether you are looking for Abba tribute bands, Beatles tribute bands, Queen tribute bands, cover tribute bands or something quite different, the odds are very good that you will be able to find just what you are looking for. Tribute bands are great fans of the originals themselves and will go to great lengths to look and sound just like them, paying attention to every last detail so their customers get the most authentic experience possible. There have been many TV shows featuring tribute bands and impersonators. Some of the most popular shows today include Pop Idol and Stars in Their Eyes because people love tribute acts and impersonators.
The first ever tribute bands were probably The Beatles and Elvis. Today, there are literally hundreds of Elvis tribute acts in the UK alone! Famous tribute bands include Bjorn Again (Abba) and Beatlemania (The Beatles) and tribute band names are often a pun of the original name. Many tribute bands these days are well known and have their own fan bases. Hiring a tribute band is a way of bringing your favourite stars to your own party or event. Rather than go to an impersonal concert, you can share the enjoyment with your friends and family in your own settings. After the show, you can even mingle with the stars!
If you are not sure which tribute band would be the best, have a think about the occasion. If it is your daughter, perhaps an Anastacia impersonator would be ideal to get the party started or how about some Kylie? For a slightly older audience, you could consider Bee Gees tribute bands, Rolling Stones tribute bands, Blondie tribute bands or even Beach Boys tribute bands. For something a little different, there are even Jam tribute bands, U2 tribute bands, Blues Bros tribute bands and everything in between. Browsing artistes on the internet lets you see the performers photos too so you can see how much they resemble the original artiste.
If you are still not sure what would be the best thing, you can browse performers online or talk to someone in the tribute band hire company and see what they can suggest. Try to book your act as soon a possible to guarantee availability of your favourite band but even if you are booking at the last minute, you might still be able to get a great tribute band if you’re lucky.
As I have mentioned, you have to be very careful about how you find tribute bands. There are plenty of unscrupulous companies around who wouldn’t think twice about taking your money and sending a second rate performer or band. There are probably more scam agencies than good ones so you do need to take care. You can shop around for the best price but remember that if a tribute band is extremely cheap, this could indicate that they are not very good! Hiring a bad band could ruin your party and be humiliating for you since you are the one responsible for booking them in the first place. If you want to hire a tribute band always shop around first before committing yourself to any particular act or company.

The world of acting and entertainment may look glamorous and fun to the average person, but actors have to put an enormous amount of work just to get started in their chosen career. Drama must be studied like any other field of education and acting schools have an important part to play in this process. Some actors do achieve success through a different way and may get a lucky break but most actors attend a well known educational institution.

Most of us are obsessed with celebrities these days. We want to know what they wear, where they go, whom they are with and where they live. Celebrity homes are a good insight into the lavish lifestyle that celebrities live. If there is some controversy attached to the star, then we are even more fascinated.
There are a lot of companies that run bus tours around Hollywood and districts of Los Angeles such as Beverley Hills, Bel-Air and the Sunset Strip. It’s a chance to see some of the jaw-dropping mansions of the rich and famous. Sometimes, the passengers only get to see a gated entrance, a high wall and security cameras but it’s still a thrill. Some of the celebrity homes go back to the golden age of Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s. Movie stars back then were American royalty and they held court in their palaces. We are a bit more irreverent now in our fan worship.

As a culture, we are so bored by advertisements that it is difficult to see any beauty in them. In reality, a great deal of work goes into them. They are made to be beautiful. They are made to catch the eye. We miss all of it because we get sick of people always trying to sell us things. I think this is why so many people are fascinated by vintage posters. Through antique posters, we are able to see the beauty in contemporary American commercial life.

Westerns used to be staple fare on TV in past decades, before they fell out of favor but a western series with a difference revived the genre when Dr Quinn Medicine Woman ran from 1993-1998. The show was immensely popular around the world, winning numerous Emmy Awards. It is a family show with a mixture of drama, comic moments and good characters. Although seen as family entertainment, the series was not afraid to tackle social issues in its stories. These were often on the theme of race relations and feminism. More romance stories from contemporary society.

Check out what has become of some celebrities. Can you even recognize Joan Rivers? Talk about celebrity plastic surgery gone wrong. She hardly looks human anymore. The woman could star in an episode of the X-Files if it were on. Then there is Michael Jackson. I don’t even know what this guy did to himself anymore. The point is he looks an utter mess. I think he’s already had like 4 or 5 nose jobs. I believe it’s clear that we cannot base our ways of life on those chosen by Hollywood celebrities. Between the celebrity plastic surgery, the drugs, and the lavish lifestyles, these folks are not a paradigm by any means.

Time has a way of letting us know that we’re small. Humans are just cogs in the machine known as the world. We’re born on one day and 50 on the next. We often try to make our presence known, but unfortunately seven billion others around us make this difficult. We’re like ants marching in different directions, all going somewhere, doing something, and trying to look great while we do it. But reallly, why do we even bother? Because we want our time here on earth to be the best experience we can make it. This means looking our best for as long as we possibly can. Hence the plethora of Los Angeles botox clinics and specialists. This new path to looking younger has certainly made its mark in our world.

Many people are ethically opposed to wearing animal fur but still want to enjoy the look and feel of fur. The next best thing to real fur is the faux fur coat, faux meaning fake in the French language. Some customers want the clothes to look as real as possible whilst others actually want it to look like imitation fur. They don’t want to be accused of wearing real animal fur when they are not. It has been known for anti-fur protesters to throw paint over fur clothes. This type of faux item is possibly the only one where looking fake is encouraged.

With all the hard work put into exercise, why not show off that great body? Lean and toned muscles are accentuated and complimented by a rich tan. Darker, glowing skin also sends out a message of health and exotic beauty. Each year, millions of women try desperately to attain and keep a good tan by laying in the sun for hours upon hours. This practice takes time to complete, but more importantly, is damaging to the skin. Prolonged sun exposure can cause cancer, and make the skin age much faster than usual.

I never really thought about celebrity homes until I saw a show on MTV about them. I believe it’s called MTV Cribs, but I’m not really sure. I only saw it a few times. When it comes down to it, I doubt I would want to buy any of the celebrity homes I saw on TV…even if I had the money to do so.I’ll admit, some of the homes were pretty cool, but I thought they were also a little over the top, even for celebrities. The decor in some of them was outright garish. I can only hope that many of the ones not shown on this show are done a little more tastefully. There were some great ideas but there were also some that were taken so far to the extreme that the home didn’t even look like a home any longer.

All over the world there are hundreds of tribute bands paying homage to some of the greatest musicians of all time. While these bands are not the original, they do a great job of portraying the music, lifestyle, and culture of the original artist. If you have never heard a tribute band play before you should look into doing so right away. Of course, not every band has a tribute band that pays homage to them. You will have to simply find one that suits the type of music that you are most interested in.
So you want to see a tribute band perform? If so, there are many places that you can search for these bands. The fact of the matter is that they play in large and small venues across the world. In most cases you will probably find tribute bands and artists in smaller venues, but in some cases they draw very big crowds on certain occasions. Simply put, if you keep your eyes open you will be able to get a good idea as to when these bands and artists will be in your area. It is usually advertised in the local paper, and of course you can find show information online as well.
When it comes to tribute bands there are some people who are all for them, as well as some who are completely on the other side of the fence. Generally speaking, this is a decision that you will have to make on your own. The people who love tribute artistes and bands feel this way because they want to keep the music live. And when it comes down to it there is nothing better than seeing a live performance. But on the other side of things there are quite a few people that want nothing to do with these types of artists. They feel that tribute bands do nothing more than take away from the original. While this is a valid argument, most bands are not trying to intentionally do this. In fact, their intentions are to pay respect to the original band, and allow the newer generations to get a good feel as to what they were all about.
If you are a musician starting a tribute band is something that you may want to consider. The best way to do this is by finding a favorite band or artist from the past, and then researching them a bit more closely. Find out what their music stood for, and if you think that you can duplicate their performances. If this interests you, you may also want to speak with other tribute bands and artists. This way you can get a good idea as to what you should expect, and how to get started, book shows, etc.
For the most part tribute bands can never duplicate the on stage performance of the original. But these bands and artists should be greatly respected for all of the time that they put into being the best they can. Not only do tribute bands have to learn all of the songs, but they also have to research how the original group acted on stage. This way they can give the audience the complete experience that they are looking for.
As you can see, tribute bands have become quite popular over the past few years. Even if you do not think that you would like to see one of these bands perform, you should at least give it a try one time. You may be surprised to find out that they put on a pretty good show.
If you want to find out more about tribute bands why not try visiting http://www.tribute-entertainment.co.uk a site that specializes in providing information and resources about tribute acts and artistes

In today’s day and age there are tons of people who want to look like celebrities. Not only do these people decide to dress and act like their favorite celebrity, but of course they want to look the same way as well. These lookalikes are not uncommon, and you have probably seen them on television at least once or twice. In fact, there have been several television programs dedicated to celebrity lookalikes. It is quite interesting to see how so many people can make themselves look like another person.
If you want to be a celebrity lookalike you are going to have to put in a lot of work and in many cases a lot of money as well. The first step that you will have to take is learning everything about the celebrity who you are interested in. Take notes on how they dress, how they act, and of course what they look like. When considering physical features you should look at every last detail from facial features down to the feet. After all, the more detail that you can copy the more you will look like your favorite celebrity.
There are two types of lookalikes in the world today. There are the people who naturally look like celebrities and only do a bit of work to cap things off, and then there are those people who work on their body in order to achieve the results they are after. This means that they will eat less if they have to, and even get plastic surgery if it is a must. While there is nothing wrong with this, make sure that you know what you are doing before you get in too deep. In other words, do you want to be a celebrity lookalike for the rest of your life?
Believe it or not there are lookalikes agencies that are becoming quite popular. These agencies specialize in finding celebrity lookalikes, and then booking them on jobs that suits their needs. This may not seem like a very big industry, but it is actually picking up a lot of steam. This all goes back to the sheer volume of people who are obsessed with celebrities and what they are doing on a daily basis.
If you think that you look like a certain celebrity it may be in your best interest to get in touch with a lookalike agency. They will be able to give you an honest assessment, and if good enough you may be able to begin booking jobs. Many people work very hard to tweak their look so that they can become one of the featured lookalikes at an agency.
With so many people interested in the way that celebrities look, it is easy to see why so many lookalikes are popping up all over the world. As more and more lookalike agencies are established, this industry is only going to get stronger. In turn this will lead to a lot of newcomers trying their hand as a celebrity lookalike.
