My neice really lices our hdtv projection system, because it is just like being in a theatre. It has a little projector which mixes the color and shoots them out onto a wall. The other night, we had her and all of her little friends over for a night of Disney movies along with my son and his best friends rich and tom, who are twins. They’re really funny – they finish eachothers sentences and everything. Anyway, we turned on the hdtv projection television to an immediate chorus of “ooohhss” and “aaahhhss”. It was like actually being there, except that there wasn’t really any place as this was a cartoon. It’s hard to tell by looking at the image what the actual resolution is, but I’m sure it is quite good. It really looks every bit as good as a movie theatre, with the advantage of being at home.

I have also experienced many surprises in movie classics. For example, I had no idea that Dennis Quaid’s film “DOA” was a remake of an earlier film. I was amazed at the skill which the more recent producers employed to create a modern version of one of the movie classics.

During the past decade, Harry Potter books have captured the hearts and imaginations of children and adults alike, around the world. The beautiful and whimsical cover art beckons the reader into the magical world of Harry Potter. The fantasy, fairytale look invites the bookstore browser to pick up the book and take a look inside. The seven-book series is the consummate underdog drama. The author, J.K. Rowling, doesn’t paint a cliched tale that is easily forgotten. With films being made of every book, readers still prefer the Harry Potter book in printed form.

I’ve heard a few stories about the acting scene. Actually I’ve heard things from both ends. In high school I had one friend, who was set on New York and the Broadway scene. She wanted to do theater so badly. As I’m sure you can guess, this is extremely competitive. Probably worse than Hollywood even. Talk about talent. The New York scene requires you to have it all. A couple acting books won’t get you there. You need looks, charisma, a great singing voice, and wonderful stage presence. If you’ve got all these, then good luck to you. As like many Broadway attempts, my friend’s failed. She was bummed for a bit, but you move on.

To get TV on my PC, I did not need to purchase any new hardware or other equipment, because the TV channels are streamed right through your existing internet connection
It even works with a 56k connection, but broadband delivers superior reception and quality I just installed the program and in mere seconds was instantly watching International satellite channels on my PC!
You can also watch the Big Games LIVE without any additional fee or subscription.
Since I got TV on my PC I find it hard to believe the amount of money that I have saved compared to when I was paying the monthly fees for cable

You can find newer copies of the Lord Of The Rings books too, and all you have to do is search the Internet to find many places from which to choose……read more at The Classic Story That Is The Lord Of The Rings

We all love movies! There is pretty much no denying that! We rent them constantly and view them in our spare time. Well, what little time we have anyways. This makes film extra special, since we’re willing to devote that free time toward it. Oh, and then there is the theater. This one is always a hoot. Even though the movie theater RIPS us off completely, we still manage to make it there routinely. Sure, we gripe about the concessions and how it all used to be less expensive, but nothing changes. We still go. Heck, we must adore films like no other form of entertainment.

Did you also think it would be nice to understand a movie in the Original, rather than having to view it in a synchrinised or sub-titled version? Well, that means learning the foreign language. Up to now this was a tedious thing and unless you REALLY wanted to learn the foreign language or had a strong compelling reason to do so, the project was abandoned sooner or later.
Why not try the Pimsleur language audios? These foreign language audios work on the principles of repetition. You learn the language by listening to the short 30 minutes lessons. Your brain picks the language up the same way you used to learn your first language when you were a small kid. Why not learn spanish with pimsleur audios?

A lot of folks are interested in getting their hands on backstage passes. Personally, I’m not interested in getting them except for my husbands’ bands. However, I have now lost interest in these kinds of things. Of course, I would have loved to get one to meet the members of my favorite bands when I was a teenager. In those years, I had a long list of bands that I loved and would have loved to meet. Unfortunately, it never really happened. Anyway, it never made any difference in the end. All I wanted was to have fun at the shows.

Did you know how Spiderman was different to the other super heroes of his time? He was the youngest! This made it easy for the teens of his era to relate to him as they were all having the same issues.
He first appeared in 1962 in a comic book called ‘Amazing Fantasy #15′, he became so well liked that Marvel decided to give him his own comic book and over the years Peter Parker and Spiderman have evolved just as his fans did – growing from high school teens to college students to working adults. How did he turn into a crime-fighting spider?

Just as the DVD revolutionized the movie industry, peer-to-peer (P2P) filesharing revolutionized the way that files are exchanged. It’s no wonder, then, that the two have long gone hand in hand, with many people turning to P2P for free, easy access to movies. However, just as with the music industry, the movie industry has started taking the legal issues of unauthorized copying and distribution of their movies very seriously. This has led to an increased interest, both by businesses and consumers, in legal movie downloads.
The above article about legal movie downloads is here.

In today’s day and age there are tons of people who want to look like celebrities. Not only do these people decide to dress and act like their favorite celebrity, but of course they want to look the same way as well. These lookalikes are not uncommon, and you have probably seen them on television at least once or twice. In fact, there have been several television programs dedicated to celebrity lookalikes. It is quite interesting to see how so many people can make themselves look like another person.
If you want to be a celebrity lookalike you are going to have to put in a lot of work and in many cases a lot of money as well. The first step that you will have to take is learning everything about the celebrity who you are interested in. Take notes on how they dress, how they act, and of course what they look like. When considering physical features you should look at every last detail from facial features down to the feet. After all, the more detail that you can copy the more you will look like your favorite celebrity.
There are two types of lookalikes in the world today. There are the people who naturally look like celebrities and only do a bit of work to cap things off, and then there are those people who work on their body in order to achieve the results they are after. This means that they will eat less if they have to, and even get plastic surgery if it is a must. While there is nothing wrong with this, make sure that you know what you are doing before you get in too deep. In other words, do you want to be a celebrity lookalike for the rest of your life?
Believe it or not there are lookalikes agencies that are becoming quite popular. These agencies specialize in finding celebrity lookalikes, and then booking them on jobs that suits their needs. This may not seem like a very big industry, but it is actually picking up a lot of steam. This all goes back to the sheer volume of people who are obsessed with celebrities and what they are doing on a daily basis.
If you think that you look like a certain celebrity it may be in your best interest to get in touch with a lookalike agency. They will be able to give you an honest assessment, and if good enough you may be able to begin booking jobs. Many people work very hard to tweak their look so that they can become one of the featured lookalikes at an agency.
With so many people interested in the way that celebrities look, it is easy to see why so many lookalikes are popping up all over the world. As more and more lookalike agencies are established, this industry is only going to get stronger. In turn this will lead to a lot of newcomers trying their hand as a celebrity lookalike.

Is it just me, or are Hollywood film studios really dropping the ball these days? Instead of producing original, creative films that I actually want to see, it appears that most studios are content to churn out sequels and remakes. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked out of a theater shaking my head in disappointment at what I just saw and telling myself that I could do better than that if only I could learn the basics about how to write a movie script.

Bette Davis is one of those famous Hollywood actresses famous during the film capitol’s golden age, and still widely discussed today. Also a talented stage actress that appeared in a number of Broadway productions, she was known for her flamboyant character in life and while performing. Some of her most famous movies include ‘Dangerous’ (1935), ‘Jezebel’ (1938), ‘Now, Voyager’ (1942), and ‘The Star’ (1952). She was nominated for Oscars 11 times, and won two.

The other day something funny happened to me, I had no idea they had made and they sell Pulp Fiction wallets. I watched that movie when it came out, used it in the classroom when it was on video (and when my class voted on it as the semester’s end party movie), and my friends and I got the soundtrack to the film and played it over and over to hear and repeat the classic lines.

A number of people contend that secret societies have financed Science Fiction and Science Fantasy films to prepare us for the day when we are overwhelmed by off world beings who are coming to harvest us as food.
My response to this suggestion is: BALONEY! If a secret agency or secret society is financing films like Close Encounters, ET, Mac and Me, and other films considered “pro-alien,” who is financing the anti-alien films such as Predator I and II, Alien I, II, and III, Terminator, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Body Snatchers, The Thing and others?…

There is always a part of us that hopes that we can score front row tickets every time we plan to attend an event. Of course, not everyone wants to sit up front, but the most of us think it’s the best place to be. Although I do know people who like to sit back and be further from the action on stage, I have to agree that the front seats are best place to be during an event. Nevertheless, not everyone can sit in the front seats. You may not get what you are hoping for, even if the seats you want are further back when the public ticket sales begin for any event.

I have seen over the years some gorgeous, stunning, and rare Marilyn Monroe pictures that seem more representative of the Marilyn Monroe who was a person, too. One of my favorites is the shot of her working out. She is laying with her back to the bench press, holding small dumbbells up in front of her. She is dressed in jeans and a bathing suit top. The photo is black and white, shot by Phillipe Halsman in Hollywood in 1952. Simple, real.
