Prince William and Kate Middleton will soon be wed. Here is a song for them.
The song is sung by Canadian artist Ann Vriend and produced by Andrew Smith at Roadmap Music in Kelowna BC. The smooth, jazz inflected song made its debut on YouTube mid January and is quickly racking up hits on the site. Roadmap is hoping that the song becomes a kind of soundtrack for the next few months as the world continues to read and hear about the upcoming wedding on just about every news channel, website and news radio program available. Roadmap has also partnered with NorthStar Music Publishing based in Cambridge, England to help promote the song in the UK and hopes the song will provide a welcome distraction there from things like austerity measures and credit crunches.
The YouTube link for the William and Kate song, as well there is also a link to itunes for those who want to download the song. You can also view other videos featuring Roadmap Songs Road Map Music.

Most musicians are very vain when it comes to their instruments. As much as possible, they want their instruments to be shiny, scratch-free and mold-free. However despite how vain a person is, there are just some instruments that are hard to clean and dirt that are hard to remove – like for example, a trumpet. Cleaning a pocket trumpet is tedious and should be done delicately for just a small bent on their valves can cause a major damage and may render the instrument inoperative.
Most of the cleaning problem that trumpets need like those silver pocket trumpet is about molds usually presenting as greenish speckles. The dark, damp internals of a trumpet provide an ideal breeding ground. To clean mild mold accumulation you can use vinegar. Use pure undiluted white vinegar, soak your cleaning brush and scrub the surface of the instrument. For heavier build-up, soak the entire trumpet in vinegar then scrub it with the brush after the mold has been saturated and rinse your horn with water to remove the vinegar. Vinegar is a weak substance so you do not have to worry for it will not harm your trumpet’s finish.
There are times when mineral deposits form in your trumpet, especially when it has not been cleaned for a long time. Most of these deposits form inside your trumpet’s slide – you can try to use vinegar if it will remove those deposits. But if not, you can go to your local hardware and ask for a mineral remover. Fill the slide with mineral remover and allow it to sit for five minutes. Rinse the slide with soap and water and inspect it again for any remains.
Cleaning may be a boring task to do and being vain with instruments may sound ridiculous, however such efforts pays off for cleaning maintains the lifespan and performance of your beloved instruments.

If you’re planning an event with a DJ in Austin, you want it to be fun and run smoothly. Most people only hire a DJ for one or two events during their lifetime. This makes it difficult to make an informed decision when it comes to mobile DJ entertainment. Read on, and I’ll give you expert tips that will help guide you to the right disc jockey for your event.
Price:
Answer the phone at any mobile DJ service and the first thing you’ll likely hear is “How much do you charge?” While that’s an excellent question, and one you’ll definitely need to discuss, it’s not the only consideration when choosing a mobile DJ for your event. Today, we’re all used to buying relatively inexpensive products that offer good quality for a fraction of the name brand price.
The thing you have to keep in mind is mobile disc jockeys aren’t providing a product, they’re providing a service. Unlike two TVs that do basically the same thing and have roughly the same quality, no two mobile DJs are alike. They all have individual strengths and weaknesses. Some DJs are more experienced, some have less experience. Another consideration is the Austin DJ’s equipment. Though very low cost DJ gear is available these days, reliable, high quality gear is still very expensive. Can a DJ charging $150 for four hours provide a reliable, high quality show when most DJs in your area charge four times that amount or more? Probably not.

Whilst planning your special event, tent hire might be one of the most important points on your check-list. Before you can go ahead and book your tent, you need to consider the following issues: the amount of people you expect to attend your event, where you’ll be pitching the tent, the theme you’d like to portray in the decor and facilities available such as a nearby kitchen for catering purposes and restrooms for guests, to mention just a few.
It may, at first, seem like a lot more hassle to hire a tent for your special event, however, once you consider the benefits that this option has over that of hiring a venue with standard decor, features and accessories, you’ll soon realise that special event tent hire is the better choice, if you’re wishing to make a lasting impression on your guests.
One of the biggest pluses in hiring a tent for your special event is the fact that you can customise the tent and it’s interior to suit your needs and comply to any set theme beautifully. If it’s a corporate event, you can consider having the tent branded with logos and slogans or just opt for a tent in the colour of your choice.
By choosing suitable interior decor and furniture, you can ensure that your guests have the ultimate level of comfort and enjoyment and that your theme is carried through in this along with creating the desired atmosphere with the lighting, whether it be romantic for a wedding, sophisticated and formal or lively and funky with lots of colour and movement.
It is therefore no surprise why most event organisers as well as many companies and private individuals opt for special event tent hire in order to make a statement and ultimately get the very best out of their event.

Choosing their own tune
When teaching a child how to play a mandolin, some teachers will have their own material they insist on using while others will ask the student what their favorite tune is and then show them how to play it.
This makes the child feel more relaxed since they already have the melody in their head. It makes learning the mandolin lesson for a child fun and enjoyable.
Your responsibility
As a parent who wants to get your child involved in playing a musical instrument, you have to realize that your job doessn’t stop when getting them a mandolin lesson. You have to constantly remind your child about practicing and keeping up with their instrument and books.
But, most important, keep them inspired and if possible, play a musical instrument with them some times. Don’t ask them to play in front of others until they feel like they are ready and really want to.

There are tons of people who wish to learn how to dance, regardless of whether it’s ballet, contemporary rock dancing, square dancing or ballroom. Your own liking though or the dances that are really common in your community will eventually influence the type of dance you need to spotlight when preparing your own dance station.
You can begin by having lessons from home if you have the room, if you don’t but one of your students does, offer free lessons in exchange for using a large room or maybe a basement. With the exemption of jazz and ballet that need large mirrors and bars to hold on to, you will not really need any props for nearly all types of dance coaching. In case you can’t avail of a free room, the next most convenient thing will be your local church or YMCA. Typically, you’d probably offer a portion of your training fee in exchange for the hall. Work out how much portion but it shouldn’t exceed half of the earnings.
When starting a dance class, begin by publishing a comprehensive and concise catalogue that summarizes the entire charges and timetable. This is your key marketing and advertising item, those that you’ll share to every potential student. Then you can solicit concerns by assembling small classified ads.
However, classified ads must not be the end of your campaign. If you are starting a ballet school, give your friends who have children a call and tell them about the school. You may also arrange posters on the bulletin board of the nursery schools, day care centers and youth centers. Moreover, aid your advertising campaign by leaving your business cards at toy stores and children apparel shops.
The simplest of the resources in teaching would be the music player; a lightweight one should be sufficient, for the moment.
You must get $30 to $35 per hour gross earnings so figure out what your rate will be. If you decide to have a school of ten students, you’ll be able to charge about $3.50 per student per session. Aim to make your clients agree to a string of classes like one session each week for six to ten weeks. Needless to say, if you are only instructing smaller sized classes with a very few numbers of students, costumers will pay more, and in return, they’ll be getting a more individualized attention for their money.
Relatively, within a short while, it will be easy to see yourself as an operator of a successful business that can generate profits of $ 25k per year or up.

All it takes is having your child dress up in his kids Elvis costume for Halloween and then putting the classic Elvis moves on while belting out the lyrics to Hound Dog and I’m All Shook Up, and you will have a bonafide little Elvis dude on your hands! This is great fun for Halloween and a great choice for a costume for your child. Nothing smacks of that famous and memorable Elvis style more than the whole body polyester jumpsuit with bell bottoms he used to wear! Make sure he has a large ornate wide belt and belt buckle, a black Elvis hairstyle wig and long pork chop sideburns. And have him watch some Elvis videos and listen to some of the great music that helped make the King the legend that he was and continues to be. Born in 1935 in Mississippi, Elvis grew up listening to country music, gospel and the blues. This mix had a profound influence on him. He sang and played guitar from a young age and destiny called when he walked into the Sun Record studios to record in 1953. The song writing partnership of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller provided the next number one with Hound Dog. The chart topping hits kept coming in the 1950s, including Don’t Be Cruel, Love Me Tender, All Shook Up, and Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear. If your child can sing a few lines from each of these classic songs, he will be a hit among all the trick or treaters this Halloween!

I had no idea how to promote a concert, and I needed to figure it out fast. You see, an acquaintance of mine — a big DJ from New York — was coming through the area. The town I was living in had a small electronic music scene. I knew that if someone knew how to promote a concert, they could get him to play somewhere, but no one was stepping up to the plate. The scene was so underground and the parents and authorities were so afraid of it that he could not get a show in a mainstream club. There would be no concert tickets sold online, and no concert set lists posted up on the Internet the next day. It was going to be strictly underground, and I wasn’t sure that I was in the scene enough to organize it. Nonetheless, I took my chances.
If you are trying to figure out concert promotion for yourself, let me give you a piece of advice: it is all about bluffing. No one knows how to promote a concert — there is no how. You just have to get everyone confident the concert will happen, that it will make money, and that it will be a great show.

Halloween is a month away from Christmas but it is an early celebration in itself. You also get to enjoy good food and music while hanging out with friends and family. You can dress up and go to costume parties and kids can go around trick-or-treating. There is a lot of merry-making during Halloween even if it’s a spooky time of year.
ABBA was a Swedish pop group which had chart-topping hits from 8 original albums. They sold millions of copies of their albums and they became an icon back in the 70s. Do you still remember Dancing Queen, Knowing Me Knowing You and a lot of other songs that were played on the disco halls back then? If you are a big fan of this group, I’m sure you are also pretty familiar with their fashion.
This Halloween, remind your friends and family of that group. Dress in ABBA fancy dress costumes to bring back the ABBA fever. Dance in step with your pals and in the tune of ABBA songs. Make sure you have bell-bottom pants and flared sleeves that are brightly colored to get into the style of the 70′s.
If you want to have matching outfits with your kids, you can dress them up in children’s 70s outfits. They may have not known any ABBA songs but don’t make them miss out on all the fun.

Here’s a nice article from a novice musician friend of mine. He is speaking about how he was introduced (compelled) into music by his parents when he was 8 years old. I personally suppose it’s fairly dangerous to oblige youngsters to do one thing they do not also have a clue about. I think it’s higher to wait for them to ask for it, after which help them out to not give up instantly as quickly as the primary difficulty reveals up. However for some kid it may be really good, in any other case they wouldn’t start something besides playing around.
When I was a baby, my dad and mom enrolled me in piano music classes with a neighborhood teacher. At first, I assumed it was essentially the most boring a part of my week, however as time went by, I began to actually take pleasure in them and nonetheless profit from them in certain ways to this very day.
I was really young after I began out these piano classes, and at first it was complicated me a lot. I didn’t know what to consider it. There were so many keys and the notes were exhausting for me to figure out. My fingers have been quick and stubby and I had issue reaching the keys. I told my parents nearly immediately that I wanted to give up, however they made me keep it up, and I’m glad they did.
I rapidly started to pick it up, and before long was playing fairly well. It was not long earlier than I used to be launched to a different nice passion of mine, which is classical music, after which I became extremely grateful that I had taken piano music lessons. Not solely might I hearken to this lovely type of music, but I may actually play some of it earlier than too long.
Apart from learning how you can play a musical device, taking piano music classes served me in additional traditions. It educated me a sense of commitment and loyalty that has carried on all through my existence. I never give up one thing when it will get too exhausting, until I’m sure that whatever I’m doing goes nowhere.
Piano music lessons also instilled a discipline in me that has allowable me to work by myself for most of my life, because I can construct a schedule for myself and comply with it to the letter. I haven’t got trouble with sticking to a each day work regimen, and I really believe that these character personality had been formerly developed after I was taking those schooling.
One of many different large benefits is solely selfish. Every time I am at a celebration or social gathering and a piano is present, I love to make my way over and tickle the ivory, so to speak. Considering the appears to be like on folks’s faces as I play Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata,” or another classical piece, is incalculable!
My wife gets a big kick out of it as effectively, as she is musically disposed, and he or she loves to sing along as I play the piano. Ours was undoubtedly a match made in heaven.
Piano music lessons have aided me all through my entire being and in many different ways. I am thankful to my mother and father for having me take them, and I’ve had my child and daughter take them as well. I simply anticipate they profit as a lot from them as I have.

Love to hate her or hate to love her? Either way, no one can stop the media from calling Lady Gaga the fashion icon of the century. Her fashion sense is simply out of this world. However, no animals are hurt in the process. Every month, we hear news of her astonishing costume dress up. Let us reminisce some key highlights of her fashion journey from the beginning of the 2010 till now.
January 2010, she wore a hat made entirely from her own hair when she appeared in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show. Lady Gaga said she will create fashion, technology and photography products. Fashion Police captured her stunning moment at the red carpet dawn in an “iridescen Armani Prive swirling confection, accessorized with sparkling heelless platforms and a giant star.” Absolutely beautiful and elegant for the glamorous Grammy Awards.
February 2010, destination Brit Awards. She was the first to arrive and in great style that seemed to leave an ever-lasting impression upon the crowd. Lady Gaga appeared on the red carpet “sporting a white tiered Francesco Scognamiglio dress with a white pompadour wig that would make even Amy Winehouse’s beehive appear tame.”
March 2010, venue BBC Friday Night with Jonathon Ross. Punchline this round is a hair raising “hair phone”. A successful marketing tactics I would say to promote her single “Telephone”. Definitely another top charter of fashion forums.
Apr 2010, Fashion Yearbook. Vote results for the best and worst costume worn by her. Best ones include “Pretty in Hot Pink”, a bubblegum pink, structured cocktail dress for the 2007 Brit Awards. “Futuristic Disco Queen” glitzy disco dress that she wore at the 2009 Glastonbury Music Festival. “Banana Jacket” that sports a button collar, sunny hue color-blocked with black stripes fabric, fingerless leather gloves, and over-sized, open sleeves. “Lilac Rabbit” sporting a lilac blond bob under a black veil with 2 black lace bunny ears by Maison Michel on the cover of Spanish magazine Neo 2. “Dripping in Pearls” all-white pearl outfit, including her body and face. Worst costumes include “Plain Lady Gaga”, “Blubble Wrap”, “Gaga Little Tea Pot”, “Layer Cake” and “Muppet Slayer”
May 2010, Time magazine included Gaga in its annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world
June 2010, revelation of the fashion rundown for her latest single “Alejandro”. Gaga’s steam punk inspired binocular headdress is by Nasir Mazhar and the black Victorian-style cape was custom-made by the late designer Alexander McQueen. She wore underwear by Calvin Klein, black heels by Christian Louboutin and stockings by Agent Provocateur. The red nun outfit is custom made by Atsuko Kudo and its worn with a rosary bead necklace and jewels by Pamela Love. Gaga’s Joan of Arc tunic is a rubber piece custom-made by Jaiden rVa James with platform shoes by Noritaka Tatehana.
July 2010, performed for the Costume Institute ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as part of her Monster Ball tour. She looked like “a cross between Catwoman and Gene Simmons” as put by Washington Post. Needless to say, this invited an avalanche of critics who dethroned her from being a fashion “icon”.
August 2010, Staples Center. Lady G wore plastic bubbles on her bod, red lace over her face, 10-inch Alexander McQueen “armadilio” shoes on her feet and an Armani “Space Age” dress constructed of glittery rings that seemed to orbit around her. Turning the singing artist into a human disco ball.

The Wurlitzer jukebox was introduced in 1933 and continued to be manufactured until 1987.
Every jukebox that was made had a unique name rather than being called a jukebox. The Wurlitzer Company has been in the music business since 1856 and they were one of the first companies who began making jukeboxes, known then as coin operated phonographs. The decision was made to stop making them in 1987 do to the digital jukeboxes that were emerging and being used.
Many of the Wurlitzer jukeboxes are collections items, with several of them worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The Wurlitzer jukebox 950 model was the first design to feature the famous bubble. The remaining of these are very rare. The most popular model was the 1015 with 60,000 produced. The Centennial model came out in 1956, known also as the 2000 model. This upgrade allowed up to 200 songs to be on the jukebox. 6,000 of these were made.
A great source for a Wurlitzer Jukebox is on eBay. Every once in a while, a really good Wurlitzer jukebox will be listed and the bidding will go berserk! On the other hand, you can more often than not get some really good bargains, you need to check back to eBay regularly so you can spot Wurlitzer jukeboxes as they are listed.

Believe me, I never thought I’d be buying country music DVDs and CDs, as I’ve never really been fond of that genre. But Swift’s tunes are more of a pop/country mix and are actually very catchy.
No wonder she has tens of thousands of so-called “crossover” fans! Her songs have a certain quality that appeal to all kinds of people, and have helped her become one of the top-selling artists of the year.
Anyway, after liking what I heard from Taylor Swift, I decided to try other artists in the genre.

There are strategies you can learn for maintaining a good work ethic. Here are a few tips that should help you to be more consistent in practicing your instrument.
Don’t procrastinate. Set up a schedule you know you can stick with and define the tasks you need to cover at each practice session. You should play the guitar every day. Avoid those long three hour sessions. Short but focused 20 or 30 minute sessions performed regularly will produce better results. Here are several tips to help keep you on the right path:
Keep in touch with other musicians. Contact with your guitar playing friends will help you to motivate each other
Keep moving, don’t become stagnant. Keep on leaning new skills and developing your playing.
Use your time wisely with a regular practice time. Maintain consistency.
Keep a clean and quiet practice environment so you can concentrate.
Become a complete musician by listing all of the element of the craft you will need to master.
Adjust your practice routine in ways that make it easier for you to maintain for the longterm. Know thyself, know your own work habits.
Practice well. Avoid moving on too quickly. Play the same thing over and over every time you play. Keep playing until you can play it perfectly before. The you can move on to new challenges.
Practicing properly and regularly is the best way to become good at anything including playing the guitar. It takes discipline. Not only discipline to practice regularly, but also discipline to stay focused and on track during each practice session. That’s the secret to becoming an excellent guitarist.
Learning to play the guitar is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in my life but it was also one of the hardest. The reason that I became proficient with my instrument is simple, I practiced a lot. I spent most of my time on scales, chords and my song list. I have made playing the guitar a relaxing way to wind down at the end of the day. For more guitar lesson information click: Easy Guitar Lesson. See the article, “Learn The Guitar Fast.”

Online guitar lessons are a great way to learn guitar. Cheaper and more convenient than private studio lessons, the technology is now at a point where the difference in quality is nonexistent and actually has many advantages.
Many guitar instructors are limited to a certain style. With the better online courses the styles and musical genres are practically unlimited. There is no boredom factor involved either. Many students quit guitar lessons if their teacher doesn’t know the songs, artists or type of music they like. The top courses cover all the bases. If you don’t like certain musical styles, don’t play them and go on to something else more interesting.

And as far as the contestants are concerned, that bunch is a whole lot more talented and a whole lot more versatile on top of being a whole lot younger than in the previous eight seasons.
But enough rambling on my part, go to American Buzz and get all the info you will ever need to know in order to form your own intelligent opinions.

The condition of your guitar strings care influences the quality of the music the guitar produces. The tone of the guitar deteriorates when the strings are worn. Frequent use of the guitar makes the strings wear as does exposure of the wires to corrosive elements.
To get the best out of your guitar, you should always clean the strings immediately after using it. Secondly, you should avoid overstretching the strings when tuning. The guitar frets should also be monitored frequently and those that show signs of wear should be replaced immediately. When the strings are worn out, be sure to obtain quality replacements.
