Roses Lyrics Stands Alone In It’s Field

Saturday, October 8th, 2011

When it comes to Roses Lyrics all of the best song writers and poets are standing in line to contribute. I was always partial to and taken a back by the Poets of the fall roses lyrics by songwriters: Kaaroonen, Tukianen, Olli, Markus /Saaresto, Marko ” I’ve walked the distance, I paid my dues and tried to have a go at what I thought I knew was real” represents my accurate view of my trials and tribulations suffered at the hands of the internet. Oh if I had the time and money to write a book about these trials and tribulations suffered at the hands of affiliate marketing, search engine optimization, google adsense, amazon and clickbank marketplace, not to forget yahoo search marketing to mention a few.

You Can Increase Vocal Range If You Know Where To Start

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

As an aspiring singer, you may be wondering where to start in order to increase vocal range and become a more versatile performer. Consider this; when they invented the piano, they placed the “C” note right in the middle of the keyboard. This is because the C scale is the most common range for the human voice. This is a good place to start defining your limitations which you will need to identify before venturing into broader horizons. Experiment with the middle C scale to see if it is your natural range. Most people can sing a one octave scale comfortably before they have to strain to hit high notes or reach deep down for the low ones. If your natural octave range is not the C scale, it will most likely be close to it.

It will be necessary for you to master and commit to memory your natural octave scale before you can begin increasing your vocal range beyond that limit. This one octave will be your “comfort zone” and serve as a recognizable set of 2 border lines, high and low, from which you will attempt to expand beyond.

Please, Don’t Say The “P” Word!!!
Practicing scales is never a favorite activity for amateur musicians and singers, but it is a vitally important exercise if you wish to become a serious talent. This is why so many people who “love to sing,” never become singers, because they don’t want to be bothered with the stuff that isn’t fun and part of the romantic image of what a singer is and does. It is like trying to be a football player without taking part in daily workouts and training. Professional singers and musicians never reveal to their fans all of the hours of hard work and toilsome exercise that is required to deliver the fantasy image that sparks our imaginations and creates the romantic illusion that we all love to be a part of through the listening experience.

Your first task in your quest to increase vocal range should be to master that natural octave scale. When I say “master,” I don’t mean just to sing it once or twice and be satisfied that you can do it. You need to make the notes of that scale a part of the deepest inner memory banks of your mind. You need to be able to recognize the notes when you hear them, and duplicate them at will without the aid of an audible sound to guide you. If this sounds like an impossible task to you, it shows that you are unaware of your own potential, and you underestimate the power of the human mind. Not only is this the starting point for expanding your range, but it is a vital aspect of perfect pitch training as well.

Once you have mastered this scale, you will not only have achieved the ability to all of this, but you will experience the physical vibrations caused by each note and will also be able to identify the notes according to the way they feel in your throat. Moving beyond the limits of this scale will then become easier because you will be able to literally feel where you are in relation to your octave scale which will have become a benchmark reference for your ears, throat, brain, and nervous system.

Facets of Lady Gaga Costume

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Love to hate her or hate to love her? Either way, no one can stop the media from calling Lady Gaga the fashion icon of the century. Her fashion sense is simply out of this world. However, no animals are hurt in the process. Every month, we hear news of her astonishing costume dress up. Let us reminisce some key highlights of her fashion journey from the beginning of the 2010 till now.

January 2010, she wore a hat made entirely from her own hair when she appeared in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show. Lady Gaga said she will create fashion, technology and photography products. Fashion Police captured her stunning moment at the red carpet dawn in an “iridescen Armani Prive swirling confection, accessorized with sparkling heelless platforms and a giant star.” Absolutely beautiful and elegant for the glamorous Grammy Awards.

February 2010, destination Brit Awards. She was the first to arrive and in great style that seemed to leave an ever-lasting impression upon the crowd. Lady Gaga appeared on the red carpet “sporting a white tiered Francesco Scognamiglio dress with a white pompadour wig that would make even Amy Winehouse’s beehive appear tame.”

March 2010, venue BBC Friday Night with Jonathon Ross. Punchline this round is a hair raising “hair phone”. A successful marketing tactics I would say to promote her single “Telephone”. Definitely another top charter of fashion forums.

Apr 2010, Fashion Yearbook. Vote results for the best and worst costume worn by her. Best ones include “Pretty in Hot Pink”, a bubblegum pink, structured cocktail dress for the 2007 Brit Awards. “Futuristic Disco Queen” glitzy disco dress that she wore at the 2009 Glastonbury Music Festival. “Banana Jacket” that sports a button collar, sunny hue color-blocked with black stripes fabric, fingerless leather gloves, and over-sized, open sleeves. “Lilac Rabbit” sporting a lilac blond bob under a black veil with 2 black lace bunny ears by Maison Michel on the cover of Spanish magazine Neo 2. “Dripping in Pearls” all-white pearl outfit, including her body and face. Worst costumes include “Plain Lady Gaga”, “Blubble Wrap”, “Gaga Little Tea Pot”, “Layer Cake” and “Muppet Slayer”

May 2010, Time magazine included Gaga in its annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world

June 2010, revelation of the fashion rundown for her latest single “Alejandro”. Gaga’s steam punk inspired binocular headdress is by Nasir Mazhar and the black Victorian-style cape was custom-made by the late designer Alexander McQueen. She wore underwear by Calvin Klein, black heels by Christian Louboutin and stockings by Agent Provocateur. The red nun outfit is custom made by Atsuko Kudo and its worn with a rosary bead necklace and jewels by Pamela Love. Gaga’s Joan of Arc tunic is a rubber piece custom-made by Jaiden rVa James with platform shoes by Noritaka Tatehana.

July 2010, performed for the Costume Institute ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as part of her Monster Ball tour. She looked like “a cross between Catwoman and Gene Simmons” as put by Washington Post. Needless to say, this invited an avalanche of critics who dethroned her from being a fashion “icon”.

August 2010, Staples Center. Lady G wore plastic bubbles on her bod, red lace over her face, 10-inch Alexander McQueen “armadilio” shoes on her feet and an Armani “Space Age” dress constructed of glittery rings that seemed to orbit around her. Turning the singing artist into a human disco ball.

70′s Music Artists

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

Following the musical revolution in the 1960s, the next decade absorbed different influences and produced a mixture of genres. 70′s music artists represented many different styles. There was something for everyone, with disco, soft rock, progressive rock, punk and new wave, and more. There were many radio friendly artists that got a lot of airplay. The brother / sister duo, The Carpenters appealed to moms and dads, and their kids. Karen Carpenter’s voice was one of the best in pop. Country rock, as it was known, was a popular fusion and The Eagles had the most commercial success with their laid back vocals. In contrast, Heavy Metal was alive and well, particularly in the UK. Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Judas Priest were exciting to watch live and commanded a huge following.

I Love Ashley Tisdale

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I love everything Ashley Tisdale does from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody to High School Musical. I think she’s the best one of the whole High School Musical cast! And I was just reading an Ashley Tisdale biography that said that she’s going to be in a new movie. I’m so excited!! I hope she stays famous for a really long time, because I never get tired of her. I’m going to go out and buy her CD right now.

My little nephew has a huge crush on Ashley Tisdale. She has a bunch of CD’s on her favorite pop star and TV star. As a matter of fact, she has cool pictures of her all over her room.  She wanted to find an Ashley Tisdale biography. I told her that I knew some websites that had ample information on her favorite star.  Needless to say, my niece was thrilled about this and thanked me for providing information on her favorite icon.

PBS becomes a Missouri tourist

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

The local PBS station wanted to do a special on Missouri so they loaded up the van and headed towards the state. On the first rest stop once they crossed the border they picked up a Missouri tourist guide and started looking at the attractions. They decided a trip to Branson might be just the thing as it was reasonably long drive and they could film quite a bit of the countryside and show how it changes from north to south. They started filming once they got to Kansas City showcasing the parts of big city seen as one drives along 435. When they exited on the south side they carefully documented how the city flows to the suburbs and how the suburbs flow into the country. Starting out was mostly prairie which slowly changed to more forest. The small towns were chronicled also. The further they went the more trees and hills there were and the views became more spectacular. They actually bypassed Branson showing the changing scenery as they drove up into the Ozark mountains. After having all that footage they returned to Branson and highlighted some of the shows and events there. Rather than a documentary I think they actually filmed a commercial for Missouri.

Brochure Printing- Where To Go

An Article on inexpensive Brochure Printing

Things have changed a lot in recent years now that printers are cheaper than ever. Because of this, people can do there own color copies and print them from home. More and smaller companies are doing their brochure printing all in house. Some people want full 4 color brochures while others need cheap color brochure printing, pardon me I meant low cost brochure printing. So In order to keep up, Kinko’s and the other large copy businesses have begun to offer cheaper copying and even in color.

Now, I wouldn’t say that they are cheap if you are only printing out one or two. It still can cost as much as a quarter per copy. Nonetheless, if you print in bulk like I do, it is much easier to get cheap color prints than ever before. But I’ve found that promoting events with brochures cost me about 60% less money than it used to. In any case whatever brochure services you use just make sure you compare prices and quality of work.

Do you have a favorite celebrity?

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Do you have a favorite celebrity?  Alec Baldwin is a famous America actor, producer, and director.  He is the oldest and most famous of the ‘Baldwin brothers’, his younger brothers Daniel, Stephen, and William are all well known actors as well.  Okay, so the most obvious choice is the classic Marilyn Monroe picture where she is standing over the subway grate blowing cool air up her sexy dress on a hot city day—in the movie, The Seven Year Itch.  My friend has a Britney Spears poster in his bedroom.  In this poster, she is wearing a cap, doing a semi-wink at her viewer, has a crop top on to expose or reveal her naval piercing, and is quite voluptuous for the rails that usually top the fashion and celebrity charts.

She can go from a sexy rock princess one minute to this glamorous and classic look that is reminiscent of Hollywood starlets from the 40’s.  The necklace she is proudly wearing here is quite a piece. It is set with dozens of big and small sized stones in pear, marquis and round cuts.  This piece would be worth millions.  Click here a to see our “Million Dollar Baby” necklace.

Music Jobs. What is Required to Work in the Music Industry?

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

We all love music, well most of us anyway, but I wonder how many folks actually consider a career in the music industry? It’s a bit of a misconception to think that the music industry is just made up of Musicians, DJ’s, and people who love to sing, play and perform.  The truth is there is a multitude of music jobs or music related jobs to choose from that support such acts as the above.

Psychedelic Album Covers Of The Sixties

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

During the 1960’s and 1970’s, album covers tended toward conceptual protests of previous ideas of good cover design. Abstract psychedelic patterns were popularly tied in to this new concept. The “hippie” times were a period of mind expansion and discovery, characterized by demands for social and political reform. This was expressed through the medium of the album cover, with photographs of war contrasting with portrayals of aristocratic wealth. On a lighter note, “flower children”, nature, and Eastern religion were combined with psychedelic mind-blowing color-infused patterns.

Billy Joel Album

Sunday, August 20th, 2006

This article is about someone getting their first Billy Joel Album.

I only made 50 cents a week in allowance and I figured at that rate it would take years to buy the Billy Joel album. (O.K…so I wasn’t good at math) I just knew that I had to have it, so I started a campaign of chores to show my parents I deserved a larger allowance.

Article about Music Licensing

Every time a restaurant, movie theatre, radio station, super market, or mall plays a song that they themselves didn?t produce, there was a music licensing agreement that allowed them to do so legally. From the perspective of the parties involved in making the music, these licensing agreements are the only things that protect what they spent so much time and money making.Full article on Music Licensing
