When you first start playing guitar, or even if you have been playing for awhile, you are always looking for more songs to learn. The Cranberries have a great song for any beginner guitarist with Zombie.
The chord structure is Eminor – C – G -D/f#. Learning the D/addF# chord will be new for anyone fresh to the six string, but it is actually a D chord that is formed a different way to allow the F# be the bass note instead of the D root note.
The band from Ireland made a political statement with the song that hit home with many fans. Between the music and the lyrics, The Cranberries have expressed their hatred of War and the battle that went on between the IRA and the English army.
The single from 1994 still gets plenty of airplay on the rock music radio stations and most fans are quite familiar with the song and the singing style of Dolores O’Riordan, so it would great to learn for beginner guitarists.
If you want to learn more great simple guitar songs then you can visit the beginner guitar songs for more tabs of your favorite bands.

As an aspiring singer, you may be wondering where to start in order to increase vocal range and become a more versatile performer. Consider this; when they invented the piano, they placed the “C” note right in the middle of the keyboard. This is because the C scale is the most common range for the human voice. This is a good place to start defining your limitations which you will need to identify before venturing into broader horizons. Experiment with the middle C scale to see if it is your natural range. Most people can sing a one octave scale comfortably before they have to strain to hit high notes or reach deep down for the low ones. If your natural octave range is not the C scale, it will most likely be close to it.
It will be necessary for you to master and commit to memory your natural octave scale before you can begin increasing your vocal range beyond that limit. This one octave will be your “comfort zone” and serve as a recognizable set of 2 border lines, high and low, from which you will attempt to expand beyond.
Please, Don’t Say The “P” Word!!!
Practicing scales is never a favorite activity for amateur musicians and singers, but it is a vitally important exercise if you wish to become a serious talent. This is why so many people who “love to sing,” never become singers, because they don’t want to be bothered with the stuff that isn’t fun and part of the romantic image of what a singer is and does. It is like trying to be a football player without taking part in daily workouts and training. Professional singers and musicians never reveal to their fans all of the hours of hard work and toilsome exercise that is required to deliver the fantasy image that sparks our imaginations and creates the romantic illusion that we all love to be a part of through the listening experience.
Your first task in your quest to increase vocal range should be to master that natural octave scale. When I say “master,” I don’t mean just to sing it once or twice and be satisfied that you can do it. You need to make the notes of that scale a part of the deepest inner memory banks of your mind. You need to be able to recognize the notes when you hear them, and duplicate them at will without the aid of an audible sound to guide you. If this sounds like an impossible task to you, it shows that you are unaware of your own potential, and you underestimate the power of the human mind. Not only is this the starting point for expanding your range, but it is a vital aspect of perfect pitch training as well.
Once you have mastered this scale, you will not only have achieved the ability to all of this, but you will experience the physical vibrations caused by each note and will also be able to identify the notes according to the way they feel in your throat. Moving beyond the limits of this scale will then become easier because you will be able to literally feel where you are in relation to your octave scale which will have become a benchmark reference for your ears, throat, brain, and nervous system.

Visit MusicSongLyrics.com for free You And I lyrics or Medina You And I Lyrics. If you didn’t know already, “Kun For Mig” is the Danish name for You And I, although, we don’t speak Danish and can’t verify that… that’s how rumors get started.
Medina Danielle Oona Valbak (born Andrea Fuentealba Valbak; November 30, 1982 in Risskov, Aarhus, Denmark), is already a huge pop sensation in Denmark. The half Chilean half Danish songstress began working with the infamous production team, ‘Providers’ in the summer of 2008 and released the dance floor smash, You & I in September 2008.
The track spent seven weeks at number 1 in the Danish Dance chart before national radio began to take note in January 2009. To date, You & I is the biggest record of the year in Denmark. The single has spent an astonishing 6 weeks at number 1, selling 75,000 singles and reached double platinum status.
Medina has performed over 100 shows since January 2009, including supports for Lady Gaga. Her busy live schedule over the summer was supposed to have included supporting The Pussycat Dolls in August, but the show was cancelled for reasons we won’t mention.

With rock and roll, the electric guitar rose rose in importance. Most Japanese guitar manufacturers were then imitating European guitar designs. In 1957, the Ibanez guitar name became the namesake for the company. The Ibanez guitars of this period were imitations of Hagstrom and EKO guitar designs (See Ibanez RG 270).
Meanwhile, in 1954, Harry Rosenbloom opened a music store called Medley Music in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. As the store grew Rosenbloom was having trouble getting product in the post-War music boom and decided to start his own guitar manufacturing business. He formed a new company called Elger Guitars, named for his children Ellen and Gerson.
In the mid-sixties, Rosenbloom decided to stop production of the hand-made instruments and begin importing them instead. With 90’s style outsourcing, Elger Guitars became the exclusive North American distributor for the Hoshino Gakki. Later, Hoshino bought Elger Guitars, regaining the North American distribution rights, and changed the name to “Ibanez USA”, given the fact that made-in-Japan had a negative connotation at the time.

Learn to Play Guitar – It’s Easier than You Think
It certainly seems like everyone is interested in learning how to play the guitar, and for good reason. Learning how to play the guitar provides the ability to express yourself, interact with your favorite songs and bands, possibly create your own band, and, of course, it looks really cool. Perhaps most important, the ladies really seem to dig it. And the best part?
Learning how to play the guitar takes very little musical ability; it’s easier than you think.
Online lessons are available at http://guitarlessonsnow.info
Unlike other musical instruments, playing the guitar does not mean reading sheet music. Instead, you can play at least 95% of songs by learning tablature. Tablature is a different sort of “code” for representing musical arrangements with a specific grid. This grid will correspond to each of the six strings, and the various frets that run up the neck of the guitar. From there, one simply needs to place a finger at each grid spot, start strumming, and – all of a sudden – music!
Its easy to learn how to play the guitar.

As with all learning, there are beginner steps and advance steps when learning how to play guitar. If you are just starting out, you can easily just look at some charts as to where to put your fingers and strum.
However, if you wanting to teach yourself guitar scales, then you will need some guidance from a good teacher or guitar master. Learning scales is a little more complicated and not for beginners.
I found a couple of awesome guitar tutorials online. They have helped me take my level of playing to the next level. There is nothing like learning new techniques, but what is more incredible is how the music progressions are beginning to make almost mathematical sense to me. It is like magic.
Learning how to play scales has opened my playing up and expanded my abilities to not just jam, but take the lead – awesome!

As www.picsofjustinbieber.org reports, Justin Bieber is 17 now and definitely gaining momentum as a top pop artist and “drop dead gorgeous” favorite for teenage girls worldwide! He wanted to keep his birthday low key as he was about to start his tour soon after. If you are interested in watching how Justin’s tour is going, the first leg which recently started in the U.K. has been as huge success. A few very naughty fans in Manchester broke into his hotel room to take some pictures, luckily he wasn’t there at the time or there might have been some red faces! But apart from that the crowds and audiences have had a fabulous time.
Go and check out more pictures, gossip and information here about Justin’s hotel break while on tour.

Online guitar lessons are a great way to learn guitar. Cheaper and more convenient than private studio lessons, the technology is now at a point where the difference in quality is nonexistent and actually has many advantages.
Many guitar instructors are limited to a certain style. With the better online courses the styles and musical genres are practically unlimited. There is no boredom factor involved either. Many students quit guitar lessons if their teacher doesn’t know the songs, artists or type of music they like. The top courses cover all the bases. If you don’t like certain musical styles, don’t play them and go on to something else more interesting.

Oh, Boy! If you are as passionate and as avid about the American Idol singing talent search reality show as I am, you will be happy to know that this season 9 AI 2010 promises more excitement, bigger dramas, and the best entertainment than ever before.
Why? Well, with Paula Abdul abdicating and post and Ellen DeGeneres being planted in her stead, the fun will increase exponentially. And as far as the contestants are concerned, that bunch is a whole lot more talented and a whole lot more versatile on top of being a whole lot younger than in the previous eight seasons.
But enough rambling on my part, go to American Buzz and get all the info you will ever need to know in order to form your own intelligent opinions.

The fame that is associated with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart comes as a surprise when we learn that this great composer has achieved so much and yet died at age 35. Born in Austria in 1756, he was to stun the world with his great composition which still enjoys global appeal to this day.
If you read a standard Mozart biography you’ll learn he played the harpsichord at 3 years of age and composed at around 5 or 6 years. He traveled all over Europe in the company of his father and held concerts in the major cities including London and Paris. He died in 1791 after a short illness.

I have bought many guitars online over the years. I studied Classical Guitar At The Crane School of Music, and played in various bands for the last 15 years or so. To Buy Guitar Online is to truly live on the edge. Really I would prefer to go to the store and play the very guitar I am buying, but sometimes, I have to order. For example, in 2001 I wanted this Parker Fly Classic (now called the mojo) with a certain natural finish I could not find in New York. I went online and eventually found the exact one I wanted in a small store in Tennessee (I forget the website lol) In general though, I would go to a local music store to play the guitar you are buying because the more expensive ones like Gibson, are all basically hand-made and can have different feels, flaws and bonuses, ESPECIALLY acoustic guitars. I really want the Martin D-35, but I would definitely go to a store and play 3 or 4 of them before choosing one, not just picking it out of a catalogue.

I’m a bit of a vintage guitar enthusiast, so I thought I’d share with my fellow guitar geeks an article about vintage Gibsons. It was published by www.guitarheadz.com. I liked the article and republished it on my vintage guitar fan site. Here’s a snippet:
Vintage Gibson acoustic guitars have always been, and will always be among the favorites of both musicians and collectors world wide. The first Gibson acoustic guitars came out around 1900, and they have been going strong ever since. Even the early models were known to be the best in the industry. The great thing about the Gibson name is that they constantly reinvent themselves, but never seem to fall off the map. Regardless of what they do, or how they design their next guitar, Gibson is always the one setting the trend.

I have a bet going with my buddy. We’re trying to figure out what Rihanna’s measurements are (bust, waist, and hips). You know who I’m talkin about. Rihanna, the girl who sings that song umbrella. Well anyway, my buddy swears she’s “hippier” than what she appears. I think she’s pretty standard. Our debate has actually been going on for weeks. In any regard, I’m trying to find out what her real measurements are. I found one site that has Rihanna facts, biography details, and best of all, Rihanna photos, and the site DOES have her measurements. However, this is the only site I’ve seen that lists them, so I want to make sure they’re accurate before I bring them to the table. Does anyone know of any other site that has hot chick measurements (and pictures would be nice too)? I want to double check the numbers I’ve found.

Dorothy and her cute doggy Toto do not try to find way home from behind the rainbow any more after an English rock band Pink Floyd gave their own version of Pink Floyd Wizard of Oz, Dark Side of the Rainbow.
Wait! Wizard of Oz, an MGM movie, was made 1939 – according to my son, in the ancient times. To be truth, Pink Floyd’s 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon, lies for him in the same ancient times.
Now, on the more serious note: Dark Side of the Rainbow aka Dark Side of Oz aka The Wizard of Floyd, is some sort of synchronization between classic MGM movie and Pink Floyd album. One watches the film and listens to music at the same time. Many believe that the movie and the music somehow correspond with each other.
